Freelance Appointments
Booking & Cancellation Policy Terms & Conditions
Please ensure you read and understand all sections of this policy.
Booking fees are not refundable & not transferable with less than 48 hours notice.
No refunds for services rendered.
Bookings ⇩
We require a 50% booking fee to secure each appointment.
We need your email address and phone number to make bookings.
Appointments are not confirmed until the booking fee is received by us. You will be given a payment link, either PayPal or Revolut.
If a booking has not been paid within 24 hours of you receiving a payment link, the date/time discussed will open back up to other clients. We do not send reminders to pay your booking fee.
Appointments are not confirmed in communications discussing availability. Appointments are only confirmed once you have paid a booking fee and have received a confirmation email from our booking system.
Travel fee's must be paid at your appointment along with the remaining 50% of your appointment cost plus any additional extras.
For all nail appointments please note: We do not refill other nail techs work due to product incompatibilities. If you require a removal please state this at the time of booking so that the appointment time and cost can be adjusted appropriately. Removal charges range from €15-25 depending on the product and time allocated.
For all nail appointments, we cannot and will not work on damaged nails or nails with surrounding fresh cuts or open wounds including picked oozing skin or any skin/finger infections.
For all makeup/brow/lash appointments, we cannot and will not work on areas with cold sores/recent scars/fresh cuts or open wounds including picked oozing skin or any eye infections.
Cancellations/Reschedules/ Amendments ⇩
Our minimum required 48 hour notice period is to ensure we have adequate time to fill the appointment you have cancelled/rearranged/amended. We kindly request you respect our time and our business.
If you want/need to cancel your appointment we require 48 hours notice.
If you want to reschedule your appointment (cancel the date/time originally booked and move to another date/time) we require 48 hours notice. If you want to reschedule with less than 48 hours notice a new booking fee will be required.
If you want to amend or make changes to your booking in any way we require 48 hours notice. For example, if you booked a higher priced service and wish to change to a lower priced service (ie. you booked Gel X Tensions and decide to change to Shellac) we require 48 hours notice. If you do not notify us 48 hours before, you will be charged for the service(s) originally booked.
If you booked multiple services and wish to cancel some, we require 48 hours notice. If you do not notify us 48 hours before, you will be charged for the services originally booked.

If you booked a shorter timed service and wish to change to a longer timed service (ie. you booked a Brow Wax and wish to have Henna Brows) or wish to add on another service, you must give us 48 hours notice. Appointment times vary between services and we may not be able to allocate the extra time without notice.
Appointment Confirmation & Reminders ⇩
You will receive a confirmation email upon booking, and also a 72 hour email & text reminder, as well as a 2 hour email reminder of your appointment.
It is your responsibility to check your spam/junk email folders. You must inform us asap if your contact information has changed.
We aim to arrive to your location at your appointment time, however traffic or road conditions may cause unforeseen delays. If we are delayed we will notify you as soon as it is safe and possible to do so. However we will not text/call while driving.
If you are not home or do not answer when we arrive, we have a 15 minute grace period within which we will try to contact you, after this time it will be considered a no show and your appointment will be cancelled & booking fee forfeited. If you wish to re book, a 100% booking fee will be required and is subject to this same policy.
We advise all appointments are booked at least 1-2 weeks in advance (4 weeks or more in advance during busy holiday periods).
If you book an appointment that falls within 48 hours, you are agreeing to and subject to these booking terms and conditions & this same policy applies.
Coughs/Colds/Flu/Covid ⇩
These are all valid reasons for cancelling/rescheduling your appointment, however we require 48 hours notice & this same policy applies.
If you are currently on antibiotics/steroids for for any respiratory infections, please wait until you have finished your course of treatment before booking an appointment with us.
If you develop or begin to display symptoms of a cough/cold/flu/covid right before or at your appointment we kindly ask that you wear a mask and refrain from coughing/blowing your nose throughout your appointment. If your symptoms appear to be severe, we may not be able to finish the appointment and you will be charged in full.
We reserve the right to refuse service to protect our own health and business.
Nail Repairs ⇩
We offer free nail repairs within the first 48 hours after your nail appointment. You must notify us of the damage within this time frame to avail of this free fix, and an appointment will be offered to you. Travel charges apply. After 48 hours a minimum nail fix charge of €10 per nail + travel charge applies.
If you have broken a nail and want to have it repaired/extended at your next appointment please state this at the time of booking so that the appointment time and cost can be adjusted appropriately. Nail repairs/extensions at your appointment are charged at an additional €5 per nail.
Hygiene ⇩
As we are freelance and come to your home/hotel/B&B, we require you to have a clean & suitable area for us to set up our equipment. We will not work in unhygienic conditions.
For all nail services: We require you to wash your hands and scrub under your nails with a nail brush and warm soapy water before we arrive. We will not work on unclean nails.
For all nail appointments we cannot work on damaged nails or nails with surrounding fresh cuts or open wounds including picked oozing skin or any skin/finger infections.
For all makeup/lash/brow services: We require that you remove all makeup before your appointment and have clean & fresh skin for the booked service. Please refrain from wearing waterproof mascara in the days leading up to your makeup/lash appointment. An additional charge of €15 applies for any makeup removal required at your appointment.
For all makeup/brow/lash appointments, we cannot work on areas with cold sores/recent scars/fresh cuts or open wounds including picked oozing skin or any eye infections.
Upon booking an appointment with Belle Artists Freelance Studio you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Belle Artists staff reserve the right to refuse service.
